The CareGivers Project

The CareGivers Project is an independent non-profit organization designed to renew and empower caregivers who are struggling with emotional, mental, and physical stress as they provide short- and long-term care to people with terminal illnesses.

Some statments from participants of the Caregivers Project:

"When I did this course I really enjoyed it and felt very taken care of...Now not a day goes by that I don't feel like renewal is a blessing in my life and work. I have 80 volunteers, and I want them all to do this." Patrick Springer, Hospice Manager, Houston, Texas.

"I began this course pretty sure the renewal I needed was less paperwork, less interference from the governement, more cooperation from my colleagues and the hospital staff, and definitely more time away from the hospital. Since the course, I find I've reclaimed who I was when I began medical school, the one who saw that entering medicine was the answer." H. Bruce Triplett, M.D. Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington, Kentucky.

The Caregivers Project continues to provides renewal workshops for caregivers.
